2024 COURSE MAP

Gas Gas Power Stages

It's time to put that ebike to the test with some up-hill technical sections. Each round will have a Gas Gas power stage where it will test not only the power of your ebike, but the skill of the rider.

Demo Bikes

Each round you will be able to demo a Gas Gas E-Bike. Look for the Gas Gas booth to find out more.

Mt. Nebo State Park

Mount Nebo State Park is a 1,750 ft mountain escape in the heart of the Arkansas River Valley and is part of the Monument Trails system. Stepping out on the butte, you will be immersed in spectacular views that set the stage for mountain bike trails for everyone, and include waterfalls, pine forests, winding rock gardens, and gravity – down and up. The drive-up Highway 155 will begin your memorable trip to the mountain top (Trailers longer than 24ft not recommended).New for 2023 and in conjunction with BME and Jagged Axe Trail Designs, there will be fresh trails built for expert level riders and in line with the technical nature that suits a BME event. Stay tuned for updates on the trail building progress, which will break ground in early winter.

Loop together many different trail routes, ranging from beginner to expert. Start at the top or the bottom and pick your own adventure. The Miller’s Goat green trail runs a bit easier counterclockwise and connects the expert and advanced routes. The Chickalah and Hayes Creek Run Downhill are the only bike-only trails so be mindful of the other users. The Ox-Pull Climb trail is a biker-up hill-only trail. Hikers can go both directions.

The park features a public swimming pool, cabins, a campground, visitor center with bike wash station and countless miles of hiking trails.

Monument Trails

The Monument Trails are a collection of world-class, mountain biking destinations within Arkansas State Parks. These shared-use trails are professionally crafted by some of the world’s best trail builders to showcase natural iconic beauty through innovative and sustainable design and build. Monument trails are seamlessly woven into the beautiful landscape of Arkansas State Parks to highlight unique terrain, historic landmarks, and scenic vistas.

The Monument Trail network offers users of all skill levels meaningful and enduring experiences in nature. The trails are accessible to everyone seeking an outdoor adventure. On these trails, hikers, bikers and trail runners will connect to a sense of extraordinary place and history while building lasting memories from each visit.

Monument Trails are created through a partnership with the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Foundation (APRF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing parks and recreational opportunities throughout the Natural State. The foundation is funded through private donations and has been the recipient of several grants allowing the work to begin on Monument Trails. A grant from the Walton Family Foundation supported the development of the Monument Trails at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area, Devil’s Den State Park, Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and Mount Nebo State Park.

About the River Valley Area

Dardanelle is one of the oldest cities in the state of Arkansas. Right below Mt. Nebo you will find some important staples—Walmart to grab anything you left behind easy/fast dining from well-known chains to a great local donut shop—Shipley’s and don’t miss Tarascos, it’s a great Mexican Food spot.

Russellville is about 10 miles down the road. Jackalope Cycling is your go to for bike repair, gear and some local knowledge about riding in the area. In addition, you will find your best chance for overnight stays, a great bite to eat and is not too far from Mt. Nebo State Park. If you are interested in camping, Old Post Park and Lake Dardanelle State Park are your best bet. Both offer RV hookups as well for those who have campers that exceed the size allowed up Mt. Nebo State Park.
