LICENSING PROCESS

For 2025 and beyond, all racers planning to participate in the Pro Men’s or Women’s category must obtain a BME Professional License. You must be approved for a BME Professional License to register for events. The rules for obtaining a Professional BME License are as follows.

  • All racers who have competed in the Pro Men or Women category in 2023, 2024, and 2025 at Big Mountain Enduro events will automatically be accepted.

  • Carry a 2024, 2025, 2026 UCI Professional ranking in Downhill or Enduro.

  • Have a 2024, 2025, 2026 USA Cycling Elite License in Downhill or Enduro.

  • Race the Semi Pro category with a points card and collect up to 25 points.

  • Top 10 semi-pro finishers in BME events from 2024 and 2025 will be accepted.

  • Women can submit results from previous BME events or other events that have expert or professional categories.

If you don't fall in any of these categories, you can still fill out the BME Professional License application, and you won't be charged until approved. In 2026, the fee is $50 for the BME Professional License.
